At East Providence Lanes in East Providence, RI on October 4, 2008: Tom Hansen & Chris Hall dominated the baker doubles championship match to defeat Vic Giorgio & Jon Van Hees 447-382. The win was the first for Tom after many close finishes (including second in last year's doubles event) and the 3rd for Chris. Tom and Chris won $1600 (plus a paid TofC entry). Jon and Vic left the center with $1200.

Healey Comes Through to Win First Title
At AMF Auburn Lanes in Auburn, MA on September 14, 2008: Tim Healey won his first title by defeating NEBA's most winning bowler Michael Lichstein 243-235. Tim threw clutch shots to finish the match with seven strikes to force his oppenent to throw a double to win. Tim won $1,200 plus a $100 TofC entry.

Lathrop Earns Long Awaited Win
At AMF Silver Lanes in East Hartford, CT on August 17, 2008: Todd Lathrop's clutch shots through the tenth frame resulted in his first title after defeating champion Dave Reali 258-245. Todd won $1,550 plus a $100 paid entry into the Tournament of Champions in November while Dave took home $900.
