Matunas Comes Through With Clutch Come From Behind Win
At Westgate Lanes in Brockton, MA on May 17, 2009: Jon Matunas used clutch shots to defeat champion Chad Autore 193-175 for his first NEBA title. Matunas threw a triple on the highly challenging lane conditions to make up a 20 pin deficit in the back half of the match. He won $1,200 plus a $100 entry into the Tournament of Champions and Autore took home $750 for second.
