Steve Ferraro won his first title with an exciting 279-278 championship match victory over Joe Novara at the 123Bowl.com Open. Steve started with strike 9/ while Joe started with double 9/. This gave Steve a one pin lead then each bowlers struck until the tenth. Steve finished first with a double and ringing 10-pin. Joe needed a triple to tie and keep up his quest for three wins in a row at circle lanes. He also threw a double and a 10-pin. Steve won $1,700 and a paid entry into the Brunswick Tournament of Champions. Joe took home $1,050 for his runner-up finish. There were 214 entries at AMF Circle Lanes in East Haven, CT.
