what is an average of the winnigs that people win, i dont mean each individual, i mean if you go into a tournament, win one, about how much would you win on a given day that there are a lot of people, or an average of the same amount of people?

I think an easier way to ask that question could have been \"How much does the average winner of the tournament win?\" lol But yeah, 2k is about right.

All data below is for regular singles tournaments held each month. It does not include non-champions, doubles, point leaders or TofC.

In 2004, the average first place was $1,983 ($1,400-$2,700) and second place was $1,168 ($850-1,450). So far in 2005, first place is averaging $2,250 and second 1,257. This year, the last cash spot has been between $160 and $175 which is more than twice the $75 entry fee.

For those stats people, averages for 2004 are below. I have the file open so I figured I should keep sharing the info.

247 Entries
188 Bowlers (23% reentries)
1022 Field Average (204.4 avg)
1101 At-large Cut (220.2 avg)
1104 Senior Cut
1113 Squad Cut
1122 6PM Squad Cut
1121 9AM Squad Cut
1097 12:30PM Squad Cut
1267 High Qualifier

The senor cut was lower than the at-large cut 5 of 12. The senior cut was lower than each squad cuts 1 of 12.

Squad cut lower than at-large... 6:00PM 2 of 12, 9:00AM 1 of 12, 12:30PM 3 of 12.
