Agenda for Board of Directors’ Meeting
to be held 9:30 a.m. on April 18th at Wonder Bowl, New Bedford, MA
~ Members are encouraged to attend but only BOD members and members at-large may vote ~

1. Tournament Summaries
2. Reports of Officers
3. Sponsors – Ebonite contract for 2010-11
4. Senior Cut – Eliminate the senior cut or keep the current rule
5. Women’s Cut – Add a women’s cut, combine women with seniors or keep the current rule
6. Create a cut off time for check-in - Proposal to cut off check-in at a specific time even if there are bowlers in line. This could
address the issue of bowlers arriving late for signup thus causing squads to start late.
7. Lane conditions - Instruct the TD to take a more active role in working with the bowling centers on what lane condition will be put out for the tournament.
8. Lane conditions - Proposal to notify the bowlers what lane condition will be used at the upcoming event in advance.
9. Redress Lanes during the tournament - Proposal to Strip and Re-oil the lanes before the 1230pm squad when the centers league schedule permits.
10. Special May Tournament – Confirm details, special mailing
11. Invitational Tournament
– Rename the Ebonite Point Leader Invitational to the Cambridge Credit Counseling Invitational.
– Determine the number of entries – limit at 48 or 64 point leaders. Open the field to top 48 points plus anyone who has bowled a
minimum number of tournaments with that minimum with the suggested minimum being half.
– Review the proposals for the tournament:
a. Qualifying - 6 or 7 games. Top 1/3 cash. Semi’s - Cut to 16 then bowl 4 games with
each game against 3 opponents with 10 or 15 points awarded for each win. Finals – Cut to 4 then step-ladder matches.
b. Qualifying – 5 games. Semi’s – Cut to top 1/3, bowl 3 games, top 1/3 cash. Finals – Cut to 16 then bowl 5 games with
each game against 3 opponents with 10 or 15 points awarded for each win. First 4 games round robin and last game
position round. Tournament decided upon total pinfall.
c. Qualifying – 5 games. Semi’s – Cut to top 1/3, bowl 3 games, top 1/3 cash. Finals – Top 6 then bowl 6 games found robin
against with 20 points for each win. First 5 games round robin and last game position round. Tournament decided upon
total pinfall.
11. Out of Money Awards – Is a ball considered a out of money prize? Proposal to limit the number of out of money awards to one
per person per tournament. Out of money awards include high game, high senior score and ball from the sponsor.
12. Prize Fund Payout – Eliminate the difference in prize money in a round so each round pays out the same amount.
