Sport League @ Nutmeg Fall 2011 (Sponsored by Columbia 300)

Postby KippermanD » Tue Aug 09, 2011 8:48 am

Nutmeg Bowl will be running a sport league this fall, sponsored by Buddies Pro Shop and Columbia 300. The meeting date is Monday Sept 12 at 7pm and the start time will be 7:45pm. This will be a singles/scratch league broken into 2 18 week halves. We will be using 6 different patterns, bowling on them for three weeks each. The patterns are 33', 36', 38', 40', 42', and 45'. Each game, bowlers will be bowling against the entire league, earning one point for each person they beat, changing pairs after each game. There will be a year end roll off for all bowlers who either bowled in the league or subbed (and has over 21 games) with byes for bowlers winning halves. The cost will be $25 per week with a $25 entry fee. There is also a year round 40-Clean pot, which last year was worth over $450. Any questions email me: KippermanD@Gmail.com or reply to this thread (any questions e-mailed to me I will post the question up here in case others have similar questions).

The 2nd Half of the Columbia 300 Winter Challenge League will begin next Monday, Jan 16th. We will be bowling on the same 6 patterns as the first half (40', 33', 38', 45', 36', 42'). The league average for the first half was 181.52. Anyone looking for more information, or interested in joining, can email me at KippermanD@gmail.com or reply to this thread. More information can be found at League Secretary or the league's Facebook Group, which includes weekly pattern graphs.

No one hit the 40-Clean pot the first half, so that money will roll-over to the second half. If no one hits it then, it will be applied to the year end roll-off prize fund.
