\"At Large\" cut scores?

Postby Holota » Thu Jan 19, 2006 10:17 am

Well it looks like theres no lefty/righty issue to complain about. For those that don't notice, it looks like 7 righty champs in a row (Ginsu?). This includes champs and non-champs, no doubles.
I would like to start a poll and see what the general population likes for a cut score.

Good topic. I moved the poll to the homepage per Becky's request. I expanded some of the ranges since the poll limits you to 5 choices, but I think it'll give he same feedback.

Feel free to vote in both places (I don't want to take away from Bill's idea).

I voted for 100-150, but I really meant more like +75 to +125. I don't think a 225 average per game is a carry contest for a squad cut and a little closer to +75 to +100 for an at-large cut.

Cut Scores

Postby The Czar » Thu Jan 19, 2006 2:15 pm

I can't vote for some reason, but I would like to see cut scores in the
+30 to + 60 range.

Czar, you might want to log in.. :D

I'd have to say that between +60 and +100 is reasonable. Holota, I agree with Scott in that it's a good topic.. However, I don't see what it has to do with the lefty/righty and or calling someone else out.. Not that I agree with Ginsu's comments.. I just think it might start another mini-war..

Good luck to everyone this weekend.. I'll see ya there.

I agree with Holota saying something about the lefty/righty when talking about cut scores. It was brought by Gins. when he was bad mouthing NEBA for high cut scores and a lefty usually winning. Now that NEBA has taken steps in the right direction to make the lanes a little more difficult and make the ratio better. That's where it fits in the topic.
