Thanks guys. Hard work eventually pays dividends, even for us \"old folks\"..

Kelly:
Rick & I will be at the regional. If we don't make finals we'll be back to bowl the T of C.

Likewise- I wish to join the others in extending the sincerest of congratulations to my good friend (and boss...) Brendan Bierch in winning his first title at Westgate. You are to be commended for a phenomenal showing on a very tough and demanding condition. You are correct that hard work does pay off and you are living proof of that.

Keep up the diligence, tenacity, and unfettered pursuit of excellence in the sport. More great things will be in your future.

Okay... I had to finally look up the definition of unfettered. :)

I have to say that even though I truly enjoyed watching my good friend Litch win his 24th title, it is always wonderful watching someone win for their first time. Especially when he/she has been bowling NEBA for years. Congrats Brendan!

Congratulations Brendan! Well deserved, on what was unquestionably one of the more difficult conditions I've encountered in NEBA thus far in just over eight years of competing.

unfettered. yeah.

Becky: Thank you. I'm not sure which is tougher, the bowling itself or helping run the tournament and dealing with the bowlers... :?

That was funny. Every day I spend with him I'm always looking up words to make sure he's not cussing me with stuff I don't know..
I'm still working on my statement. Like I said it will be pages shorter than his.... :D

RevInfinity: Thank you. I know.. unfettered... Sounds like something you do to a horse .....

Now I can stop being a nattering, nabob of negativisim.....
