Not only did he win his first title at the non-champions but he was also the winner of the Tournament of Champions. He is only the second bowler to accomplish this feat. The other was Steve Blanchet in 2001. The 23 year old defeated 8-time champion Brian Boghosian 457-419 in the semi-finals then 7-time champ Dave Forcier 432-417 in the championship match to win his second title in two days. Frankie earned $1,250 along with a paid entry into next year's T of C to defend his title while Dave took home $725.
