Hometown Hero Paternostro Wins NEBA's First Televised Tournament in Newington

Butch Paternostro won his third NEBA title with a 222-203 victory over first time bowler and Roto Grip staffer Brian LeClair in Newington, CT. The 65 year old right-hander put his name in the record books by becoming the oldest person to win NEBA. Butch, who has bowled at Bowl-O-Rama for many years earned $1,600 for his win along with a $100 paid entry into the Ebonite Tournament of Champions. Brian's runner-up finish was worth $1,075. The telecast will premiere on Thursday May 24 at 7pm on CPTV Sports.
