Joe Novara Defends Title in East Haven, CT

Joe Novara sucessfully defended his title at AMF Circle Lanes by striking out in the tenth for a 267-237 victory over 3-time champion Bruce Hall in the championshiop match in East Haven, CT. Joe qualified off the last squad then after a one round bye, he defated Gary Kurensky 223-185, Dave Kipperman 276-238, Tom Scherrer 258-227 and Nick Marien 257-246 before meeting Bruce in the final match. He won $1,650 plus a paid $100 entry into the Brunswick Tournament of Champions while Bruce earned $1,025 for his runner-up finish.
