Jon Matunas won his third title with a win at the BuddiesProShop.com Singles at Nutmeg Bowl. He qualified off the last squad with a 1135 then survived the eliminator format with games of 180, 221, 234, 223 and 211 on the lower scoring pattern to earn a spot in the championship match. Jon shot 223 to Tiler Levesque's 175 to take home the first place prize of $1,500. He adds this to his first win in 2009 at Westgate Lanes and his second in 2015 at Lang's.

Owner Chris Forry's interest in NEBA had led to adding $1,500 for the Annual Awards, $1,000 to this tournament and for the past two years a season's series in honor of his dad.
