O'Grady Defends Title at Ken's Bowl Open

Fresh off his PBA TOC win, Matt O’Grady successfully defended his Ken’s Bowl Open Title. Matt qualified for match play with a 1131 on the Sunday morning squad.  In match play he defeated, Nick Kallner 244-222, Matt Dzikiewicz 276-267, Nick Galusha 278-226, Chris Alpters 242-285 and Ryan Graywacz 235-223 in the semi-finals to go up against 2017 Rookie of the year Lauren Hoffman who qualified off the Sunday afternoon squad with 1137.  The championship match was close with out many strikes until Matt threw a triple in the 8th-10th to lock up the match 212-178. Matt won $1,450 for his fourth NEBA title and a free entry to the Brunswick Tournament of Champions and Lauren took home $940 .
